Howmans Gap Alpine Centre offers an alpine experience for all seasons. Located in dense forest just 4km from Falls Creek Ski Resort. Howmans Gap offers affordable group accommodation above the snowline, our isolated location ideally suits school, sporting, corporate and social groups as well as ski teams. Winter: no minimum group size, no minimum night stay.
Howmans Gap offers a vast variety of activities during the non-winter period. The nearby High Plains provide spectacular scenery of snow covered mountains in winter, wild flowers in spring and rugged mountain ranges and deep river valleys in summer and autumn.
Howmans Gap offers comfortable chalet-style accommodation for up to 158 people in rooms sleeping between 2 and 6, six single use bathrooms as well as the main bathroom facilities. The centre is fully heated and carpeted throughout. We have a large dining room, cosy lounge with open fire, games room, efficient drying rooms, extensive conference facilities, disabled facilities and access, movie theatre, ski waxing room and on site parking.
