The camp is located on the southern coast of Phillip Island. The island has almost 100 km of coastline and the camp is cosily nestled amongst tea tree scrub and coastal cliffs.

    Phillip Island Nature Parks

    Visit the famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Park and Churchill Island Heritage Farm. Ranger guided tours and talks are available upon request.

    Midday pelican feeding

    Pelicans are fed scraps from the fishing boats everyday at midday outside the fisherman’s coop at San Remo. An informative talk is held for those who stop by.

    Cape Woolamai

    Walk the coastal loop track to the highest point on the island with views over the Bass Strait, San Remo and Phillip Island. Between September and April witness thousands of the short-tailed Shearwater birds returning to their burrows at sunset.

    Swan Lake

    A short walk through coastal bushland brings you out onto Swan Lake where you can sit in bird hides and observe the behavior of a diverse collection of water birds.

    The Nobbies

    Walk the cliff top boardwalk with views of Seal Rocks, seagull rookeries and sometimes young penguins poking their heads out of burrows. Inside the visitor centre browse some excellent educational displays with information about the wildlife in Westernport Bay and the history of Phillip Island.

    Rhyll Inlet and Wetlands trail

    This boardwalk begins at the Rhyll lookout and takes you past all kinds of migratory wading birds to finish at the Oswin Roberts Reserve where you might even spot some Koalas.
