Future booking opportunities for large groups

During normal periods, Howmans Gap provides camp accommodation and programming for large school and community groups.

As we look ahead to future seasons, we welcome the opportunity to discuss future options for large group bookings, both existing and new.

Our camp programming takes advantage of the spectacular alpine environment we're based in. From skiing and tobogganing in winter, to orienteering and mountain biking in summer.

COVID-Safe Commitments

To ensure our patrons and staff are kept safe, YMCA Victoria has implemented six safety measures across all Y-managed services and facilities.

These six COVID-Safe commitments include:

  1. Temperature scanning
  2. Social distancing
  3. Signage and instructions
  4. Hygiene and cleaning
  5. Training for staff
  6. Process for instance of a confirmed case

Howman's Gap Alpine Centre has used these commitments to develop further COVID-Safe plans and procedures specific to our facility and operations.

These resources will ensure visitors and staff members can use our facilities safely during this period.

Our COVID-Safe Plan is available to download for visitors wishing to review prior to their stay. At the beginning of your stay, our management team will provided a briefing on the plan as part of an on-site induction.

If you have any questions on our COVID-Safe Commitments and Plan, please detail them when submitting our booking enquiry form.
